Christmas Eve Eve

Like millions of people I love this time of year!!! My favorite part is not the presents or the parties but the time with my family. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my family. There is nothing better than walking into my mom and dad's house. The smells, the laughter, the hugs .......oh my list could go on forever. I can't wait for these next few days. My cousins are coming into town and we get to spend quality time together. Thinking of this time just makes my heart smile. Anyways, I wanted to take a moment and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas. And of course a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JESUS"!!!

Until next time.....
Blessings and Love,
Amber

Bridesmaids!

Well after being in 13 weddings It is now my time to ask some precious sisters to stand beside me on May 21,2011. So after much planning and after 5 visits to Walgreens I am getting the answer YES! Woohooo! I wanted to let each one of these girls know why they are so important to me so I wrote each girl a letter of why they are so precious to me! I also copied a fun picture of me and that girl. Then typed in the important question... "Will you be my bridesmaid?". So far I have gotten two phone calls that were YES! Haha! Woohooo! For wedding planning and the excitement of the future. I am so blessed to serve a God that would give me so many blessings!

Things that I've been trying!

It's SUMMER!!!! Woohooo.....this is my first summer in probably 10 plus years that I have not worked or babysat.....the only thing that I am doing is taking two classes and playing! My roomie Sarah Jessica and I have a list of fun/cheap things that we are going to make this summer. When two creative minds get together you never know what will happen. Yesterday we started the day off the local park taking pictures for one of those creative name frames. I am trying to make one for my sis in law, myself, and for a wedding gift. I am excited to see how it turns out because seeing that I don't have a summer job the budget is low. Then we went to Goodwill (my new favorite store) I bought two frames for 0.50. I will post later about what I made. Then we headed to my favorite antique store in Collerville. I love that place and could spend tons of money there. After that we walked around 3 hardware stores and 2 craft stores. Our minds were going crazy with all the things that we could do! So we went home and I started my first project.

Summer Project 1

I took an old picture frame (Goodwill 0.25), chickenwire (free.....lol talked Amanda into buying it and then talked her into giving it to me.....I am going to make her something so she will have a happy), some S hooks (0.99) at the local hardware store, and a staple gun (loaned to me by Jonathon...such a good boyfriend.....p.s. I am trying to talk SJ into going to play with his table saw while he is in another country....she keeps saying No and something about Tim Allen....ha! ) Anyways after a few scratches....stupid chicken wire....here is my finished project.... I am so in love with it!!!!

Wow it's been awhile since I last blogged. Haha!! No excuses right? Well life has changed so much in two years. What great blessings the Lord has continued to pour upon me. I am so unworthy but thankful for all that He gives!

After reading my last blog I stopped to realize how much time has flown. Carter is now almost four. How did he grow so quickly? I remember telling Mom about a year ago that I dreaded the day that he wouldn't want give us kisses because that is not the cool thing to do. Well he's now started to shy away from it but giggles when I chase him down and kiss kiss kiss him! I love him and am so thankful to be blessed to be an aunt of such a wonderful little boy.

Since my last blog I became an aunt of sweet sassy little girl name Riley Kate. RK ,as Pop (my daddy) refers to her, is now 1. She is walking every where and learning new things everyday. She is pretty sassy but such a great joy to watch grow. I didn't get to see RK or Carter last weekend and can't wait to get my hands on those sweet babies.

I am still teaching 2nd grade. Wow this is my 5th year of teaching and my 3rd year to teach 2nd grade. Where did the time go? Since teaching was not enough to consume my life I am now going to graduate school at Ole Miss. I think I want to be a counselor when I grow up. Haha!!!! Hey I'm still under 30 so there is plenty of time to grow up.....right?

Well I guess I need to get back to writing my grad papers...even though writing on here is a lot more relaxing. Until next time my friends......know that God and I love you!!!! BLESSINGS!!!!!
