Heart ache and healing

Thanksgiving.... this is the only word I can post right now because....hey it's the second day of spring. Today I am thankful for my Momma Shirley. We've been told this week that we will only have my grandmother for a few more weeks. So instead of getting stuck on heartache I decided to write about what I am thankful for in her.
I am thankful that she spent every weekend preparing for our Sunday dinners. She taught me the importance of family and sacrifice.

I remember her telling me as a little girl that I needed to get in bed before her so I could get all my wiggles out before she came to bed...lol! Who? ME?

She taught me the importance of never saying Good Luck but to say God Bless!

I remember going to the old Walmart in Holly Springs and then hitting up the Big Star!

Watching Wheel of Fortune, Dr. Quinn, and the Waltons with her and my grandfather.

Bedtime stories....stories of her childhood.

Family reunions

Playing in her bedroom

A necklace that she always wore

These are just a few of my favorite things about my Momma Shirley. If you read this please take time to pray for her that she will not be in pain and that she will know how much she's loved. Also pray for my family.

Blessing sweet friends!
